Smart devices were made keeping youth the target. They can relate to it more than the other groups. Using touch screens may come naturally to a toddler of this era. Though that’s not the case for the elderly. They have interacted with the world in a different way for decades. The nerves in the finger become lose their sensitivity with age. That means for older people ” a slight touch” won’t be relevant.

Moreover, these courses are free and the aim to make older generation more tech savvy. Through all these the digital divide is closing but is still relevant. As is true for whole population. Internet adoption among seniors has may have been slow. But it’s rising at a steady pace over the last decade. When the center began tracking internet adoption in early 2000. Only 14% of seniors were internet users.
 
But today, 67% of adults ages 65 and older say they go online. As a whole, the adoption of internet and broadband connection is depends on the factors. Like where the live, money the make, etc . Still, the craze of internet among the seniors is soaring.
 
There are fewer projects which use technology to address issues among older people. Still, the small number that we came across reported very positive user experiences.
